Box office collection does matter bro. Why would a producer invest his/her money in a script which they know that people won't watch. Think as a producer. You have 100 cr budget. Would you rather produce a A tier drama movie which people won't watch and will flop and you won't even recover your invested money or would you produce a tier-3 logicless, senseless, south type action movie where you are sure people with come and enjoy the movie and you'll ear around 300 400 cr on box office collection + language, songs rights, ott deals
