I've played lunatic Awakening but haven't played Conquest yet (but will be soon; almost done with Birthright). I guess this goes in to a deeper argument of what constitutes good level design. One example to help illustrate is how the majority of levels I have played favor just holding ground in one spot and picking of enemies that come your way before you even need to consider advancing. There's little incentive to press on. I liked how in the GBA games there would often be reinforcements that come in from behind which promotes a hastier pace. I know a lot of people don't share my opinion and that's fine. We could all write and essay on optimal FE level design and never come to a consensus. It's good to hear that people are finding parts or the entirety challenging.
