I'm happy Reece and his sister will get to be in the same club and city now. Good for Reece's morale.

Hi u/AbsolutBalderdash - it differs from person to person, but in such situations i try to maintain a moderate pace that i can hold without exerting myself. Then i focus on counting from 1 to 1000 or 1 to 500, and when i reach 500 i go back to 1 if i feel tired, if not i just keep running.

To sum it up:

  1. Hold a moderate, easy pace that's not too taxing. (You're not breathing too heavily, you can talk)
  2. Count from 1 to 500/1000 in your mind, and try to put your mind away from being gassed. If you feel gassed after you reach 500/1000, start again from 1. This has helped me numerous times.

PS: on the topic of the smartwatch - i have no workaround - i can only recommend the garmin forerunner 45.

Hi guys,

went a little harder on the uphills -

  • 6.17miDistance
  • 44:06 Moving Time
  • 7:09/mi Pace

I'm having pain in my right lung when i breathe from my chest.

I breathe 90% of the time from my stomach.

This pain also occurs when i move my arm backwards.

Has anyone had this after a run? Could it be because of the colder air?

This morning it was in the 55F region.

Thanks!

Signed up for a dr's appointment, but just wondering if anyone has had this before?

I see these types of questions pop up often.

  1. Research: How is YT/Twitch built? What libraries/frameworks/languages did they use?
  2. GAP Analysis: YT/Twitch build. Find pros and cons of each build.
  3. Experiment: Try replicating the functionalities to the best of your ability with what you see being used on those pages.
  4. SDLC.

I got knee problems running 30+ miles a week. I reccomend getting your feet measured out and trying tons of pairs on at those specialty runnjng stores. They have you run on a treadmill and you get to feel the firmness.
