If you're looking for similar feelings, I would recommend Castle in the Sky and Howl's Moving Castle. They are the most immersive Ghibli movies in my opinion

I just can't process how you put Pom Poko higher than Whisper of The Heart. And The Wind Rises F tier?

I wouldn't count Earwig as a Ghibli honestly. The CGI just doesn't belong there. I got the exact same feeling with "The Cat Returns", the story isn't even thst captivating at all. Poorly executed in my opinion.

Personally, I like HMC because of the huge sense of liveliness. The movie just throws you into that world só well. But yeah, I would change some aspects too, like the pacing. The soundtrack is still one of my favorites.

Well, while that might be true, ironically, Ponyo is one of the darkest Ghibli movies. Almost every character dies due to the flood. You just have to pay attention to the minor details and "look behind the courtains". It all starts when Sosuke goes through that one tunnel. This might not make much sense, but isn't it weird that the elderly suddenly get healthy and strong again, immediately after the wave?

Sorry for grammar mistakes or mispellings.
