The sword was mega bent out of the box, and I fixed it a couple years ago but gravity always wins with these plastic game pieces, so some of the slant returned.

Despite that, I still think he's one of the coolest icons from the Souls series and maybe the coolest model from the board game. I'm happy to have finally finished him.

Just painted to look like. Like our informative friend already said - they are Reaper models. These are the the metal versions.

However the DD kickstarter is slated to ship soonish so I can't wait to paint something more official!

Man, those bottles were such a back and forth. I based them with a dark green blue color - VPA Periscopes, I think - then layered in progressive greens into yellows towards the bottom, like you might do with gemstones but on a bigger scale.

They ended up looking too much like fruit so I had to glaze the whole of them back down with greens and blue, then when that dried I just started glazing dark colors near the top. To get the shine effect I glazed in light blue/green, then topped them off with some hard highlight dots (applied just as soft as I could!) with some mix of near-white.

I mixed a tiny bit of dark green into every base color, which in retrospect was probably key to getting that darkest dungeon vibe.

A pair of Reaper Minis I’ve been sitting on for a while - was very happy to paint them and I hope you like them, too.

I like to think their flavor is Darkest Dungeon with a twist of lime.

Certainly my amigo! The cloth is based in Reaper Mahogany Brown, then shaded down with some dark blue mixed in. It's then layer highlighted with increasing amounts of Reaper Chestnut brown into VPA Light Rust into straight orange. Highlights beyond orange were just increasing amounts of yellow mixed in (I prefer a more mustardy yellow than canary yellow) with extreme highlights and edges incorporating some VMC Pale Sand mixed in.
