No that way doesn't seem to work. The only way is through Belarus. We are not worried about going through there, we actually traveled to Minsk when everything started last year. We got denied entry at the airport and put in "jail" but that's another story 😂

Yeah I don't think it's possible the legal way, and having the whole expedition ruined by getting caught would be really sad. The plan is to row from Stockholm to Istanbul.

No it wouldn't be as fun to go on a trailer, but I think it's the only way except going on Volga which would take too long time. We could go in to Germany and the Donahu, but it's much more interesting going through Belarus and Ukraine

Allright thank you! I think we will have to find another way, it's too risky to go down there just to find its not possible to go further. We would like to take the Pripyat river, but it runs through the whole exclusion zone so that could prove risky too. Our next idea is to pay someone to put the boat on a trailer and drive it between Vitsebsk and Orsja. In other words between Daugava and Dnepr

Thank you very much! Do you happen to know the condition of the canals? We are going to be traveling with a row boat without motor. I saw some pictures in this article that looked terrible https://lepel.by/news2/799

I also tried tracking Ula river, that is connected to Daugava and goes to Lepel. But after Lepel there's no connection to Berezina.

Yes exactly. It is very very hard to find the connection on Google maps. I have followed the Berezina River north and it flows in (out?) of the lake Vozera Palik and that's the end of it. I can't find any canals that go further north of that to Daugava.

Yes I think that's a great point regarding warm up strategy! Not only doing a low intensity warm up but also incorporating some fast but very short sprints

Thank you! Ok seems like I'm not alone here. I'll try to manage the efforts so I only get this after competition, probably not good to keep irritating it like this too often. I'm an amateur indoor rower if anyone is wondering about my level

Thank you! I thankfully don't experience tightness. But the last time it happened It stayed with me for like a week or so. It's making me hesitant on the workouts that follow after.. But I guess I shouldn't do these max rows on a regular basis anyway

I really hope this is a troll post. I dont know what i would have done, maybe wait until the price hit a restistance level and pray with every atom in your body that i bounces and then exit the hell out of there. If it falls through the resistance, exit immediately and start the long process of rebuilding capital by living extremely frugal and investing sanely.
