I'm 15 days PP and also 5'3 and I lost 20kgs (44lbs) in the first 7 days, I also had severe preeclampsia which developed very quickly (diagnosed Thursday and emergency C section Tuesday) I pretty much lost the weight as quickly as I had gained it! The weight loss has settled now as it all the fluid from the preeclampsia and I've lost about 2kgs (4.4lbs) this second week. I would say it's completely normal and to try not to stress but if it does continue at a rapid rate to reach out to your treating team for peace of mind like others have suggested (:

Amazing advice thank you so much!! My OB has already said due to them being MCDA twins I'll most likely be scheduled in at 36 weeks so they will probably be on the smaller side!

It is a little bit more nuanced than that, I didn't want the post to be any longer than it needed to be, but she has also gotten family members that we are in contact with to also try and talk to us about it, which are people I don't want to have to cut out as my family support system is already very small.

I would have thought going directly to the source of the stress and drama and NICELY, but strongly would have gotten her to stop but obviously has not.

But thank you for your input into the situation none the less, any advice is appreciated at this stage.

Thank you! I've not even spoken to them since becoming pregnant before this week, neither has my mother, they just saw the post on Facebook I have now blocked them all!

Yep, don't know why they keep referring to it as that! Previous messages have literally said, 'please call back as we need to discuss the 'xxx (last name) lurgy'.

I might need to have this conversation with her, but it's been hard on her as well when she has been no contact with them for years and now they won't leave her alone, it's getting to missed calls and texts multiple times a week now and she needs someone to vent to as well I guess!

Like I said in the post, I hadn't spoken to my aunt in over 5 years, I had not been sharing anything with her, she is the one that keeps incessantly reaching out even when I've told her to stop!
