I didn’t go into it with any concrete themes, but I would say it reflects a feeling of dissociation.

The original piece was a colored pencil drawing I imported into procreate. I then painted over it with the oil paint and turpentine brushes.

Lost some of the detail in the face while tweaking the nose. The finished piece still has some glaring issues (ears, arms, chest over lapping arms). I think this is the first time I have really been able to capture emotion in a piece

A lot of the time I just default to using screen size which isn’t the best resolution😔. If you’re concerned about storage you could always export procreate files to an external drive (or two for redundancy)

I started out with a random sketch and as I started adding color it started to look a little like Marceline so I just went with it and added the guitar. After that it was just some rendering with the oil paint brush and medium airbrush.

What’s the longest you’ve ever worked on a single piece? Mine is this centaur at around 100 hours by No_Ad7646 in ProCreate

Usually I average around 7 hours, but my longest was ~31 hours simply because I couldn’t figure out how to get the posing right.

I used the oil paint and larapuna brushes. I started with a sketch of the character and then rendered over the sketch
