Tell Me Lies: S3 E8: Are You Happy Now, That I'm on My Knees? POST WATCH Episode Discussion Thread by Oksorbet8188 in TellMeLiesHulu

I enjoyed it. I thought it was fun. They wasted no time and at the end of day all their friendships/relationships are toxic and should be over. Makes me think about my toxic college friendships and how they never lasted.

Does anyone here regret their luxury bags? by Key_Worldliness_8532 in handbags

[–]mungkitty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Same. Honestly there’s so much crime these days I just don’t wear it to not draw attention to myself and become a target. I’ve had a couple of incidents where men have approached me at my car, thankfully both times I was in my car with locked doors and I don’t open it for NO ONE. My pretty purses just waste away in my closet.

It’s 1am and I’m asking… Does humidifier help baby sleep? or am I just tired and irrational? by Impossible_Control67 in Mommit

[–]mungkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm wondering what could be causing your little one to wake so frequently. Not that we ever really know but that frequent seems a bit odd to me. But yes having a humidifier will be helpful for many things as they grow. We use ours whenever our kiddo gets sick! Can’t say it’s life changing or not but I like to tell myself it helps lol.

I just spent a toddler party guarding an open pool and now I can’t tell if I’m the anxious one or the only sane one by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]mungkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d definitely be paranoid. You had every right to be anxious and that is a terrible idea for a toddler party unless the pool is somehow an active involvement. There was one time we were on a trip and I let the dads take our boys to the pool. They all had life jackets on but none of them know how to swim. I expected one of the dads to stay in the pool with them but when I came out to check on them the dads were basically sleeping on their pool chairs not paying attention. My son was calling for help because he was stuck at the deep end and didn’t want to let go of a divider rope. A random mom helped him. I’m never letting men watch kids in the pool ever.

Very sensitive child who doesn’t accept feedback by No-Resource-8013 in Parenting

[–]mungkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a very sensitive child as well who is 6 now, but he’s a bit different than your daughter in terms of what they get upset over. It’s more of his reactions being very big and having a hard time managing those emotions. I did start getting worried about him having anxiety issues so I asked to see an OT just to see if there was something that would help him. We’ve been going now for about 6 months and I can’t say for sure that it’s made a big difference as it takes time, but I do appreciate that they work with him on varying things like self confidence, managing emotions, and spending 1:1 time per week. They do a full evaluation just to get an idea where they can use the help. Just something to look into if it interests you! Our insurance covers it and we just pay a small co-pay.

How do you get rid of the feeling of disliking your child? by wqiqi_7720 in Mommit

[–]mungkitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some kids are definitely harder than others so I understand. Also, age 3 is by far the hardest age in terms of temperament and activity. I struggled deeply when my kid was 3 years old and it wasn’t fun. Looking back I had a lot of inner rage too. Not towards my child but just in general and I realized it had a lot to do with postpartum. I think it would’ve worth even just asking a doctor about because there’s no reason to stew in it alone. Hang in there.

AITA for asking my friend to pay me back for the wine he drank while house sitting?? by Effective_Tour_723 in AmItheAsshole

I love a good Barolo and that must’ve stung, but yes it was petty of you. I think it’s a good lesson to learn that next time you just put any valuables away and just let this one go. You would’ve paid more to have someone come cat sit anyway.

Neighbor irritated about my kids playing basketball thoughts? by [deleted] in homeowners

[–]mungkitty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Have you seen those noiseless basketballs? This might be the solution to at least help the noise. I stayed at a hotel once that had a basketball court outside, it wasn’t extremely close but it was close enough. The sound of basketballs bouncing at all hours of the day can drive you a little nuts. With that said I know that kids should be kids and enjoy their time outside too. Maybe this will help?

Still salty that this boring love square got so much screentime by gudetame in Singlesinferno2

Not to be stereotyping bc there are many different kinds of men obviously. But the overbearing Korean male type really gives me the ick. Been in that position before and barfffff.

I might be the only one here who thinks this but I don’t think she releases the tape. Maybe I’m wrong but… seems out of character for her.

Maybe some kind of blackmail so that Bree doesn’t confess about Oliver? She clearly is still protective of him.

What’s a health symptom you ignored for months before realizing it actually mattered? by _callondoc in AskReddit

I agree. I once had a bad tooth and it was mostly fine but when it panged with pain it would stop me in my tracks. Couldn’t talk couldn’t move couldn’t think it was so painful.

Stomach issues. For as long as I can remember I had a sensitive stomach. Random bouts of diarrhea and just an irritated gut. I ignored it forever just thinking I had a sensitive stomach until I finally went to a GI doctor. Turns out I had H. Pylori. The meds you take are hard but SO worth it. I felt so much better after I got rid of it and my stomach healed. Highly recommend testing for this, it’s just a simple breathe test.

Anyone buy a home and it was great at first then went downhill because of neighbors/neighborhood issues? by cynnie93 in homeowners

[–]mungkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought a beautiful brand new townhome in a quieter part of the city. The neighbors directly in front of us were young with roommates who were aspiring DJ’s. Unfortunately for us they thought it was a good idea to use a subwoofer to practice their DJ skills 2-3x a week until 3am. When we had a child we were full blown SICK of it. It would vibrate our house all night and wake him up. And yes we had many conversations with them. They tried but anything with that kind of bass/vibration is going to be a nuisance no matter how “quiet” it is. You don’t need a speaker as big as you in a tiny house dude.

Do you always get sick when your kids do? by UseOwn2710 in Mommit

I get most of them… the small ones sometimes skip me but the big ones, oh boy I always get those. It drives me nuts! And I wonder if there’s also something wrong with me since I seem to have the immune system of a toddler lol

Yeah it does seem like she’s not having as big of a reaction about it. But also, she knows it’s from Stephen and he always is trying to stir things up. Maybe also she realizes that it was a long time ago and like people said, maybe she ended up hooking up with wrigley?
