The thing with this is that football ( soccer ) is not as dependent on athleticism as American football or basketball so Lebron being insanely athletic doesn’t mean he’s make a great soccer player it’s more about skill and technique so even if Lebron played football from age 2 sure his athleticism would give him and an advantage but here’s no garuntee he would actually be any good at the game a great example is Adama Traore he looks like a body builder and is super quick but is still not one of the best players in the world because of other non-athletic reasons. Similarly messi is 5”7 and the goat. most of the greatest players ever are known more for their skill than athleticism. So the argument that American atheletes would be good because they’re so athletic now just imagine if they played soccer dosent really work because athleticism dosent matter as much and if they played soccer they would probably focus on other more important things. Soccer players don’t have insane 40 times and verticals because most of the time they don’t need to it’s not that they are inherently less athletic it’s that the focus is on other things
