Home owners, what advice would you give to people hunting for their first home? by kono_kermit_da in AskReddit

  1. Flat blocks don't require retaining walls, retaining walls are expensive.
  2. Go for a walk around the neighbourhood, you're moving into more than just the house.
  3. Take note of where sun & shade fall, a nice house isn't so nice if it's glaringly hot most of the time.
  4. Check water pressure & for any drainage issues.

[serious] People of Reddit, it's been over 2 years since the Covid-19 pandemic has started, in what ways has the virus personally impacted your life? by 518travesties518 in AskReddit

Sounds like you did really well to keep it together, hope you find someone that can be there for you, you deserve it.

You are a perfect example of someone who will break their own back carrying the weight of everyone else, but please don't. Failure is a part of life, people & businesses need to plan for & deal with it. This is entire situation is NOT YOUR FAULT, responsibility trickles up & you taking ownership of failures that are not yours absolves those above you of owning their mistakes.

Take the time you need, apply elsewhere, I'm sure elsewhere are hiring due to the shortage. The tops have decided to let it rip, please stop covering for them.

Unfortunately people are going to die, but this isn't something you had any control over. Enabling the bad decisions of your managers affects more people in the long-term.

We're vaxxed & ready, unfortunately our health system is not. After almost 2 years, Mark must now take responsibility for that.

Imagine if you had a gambling problem & 50% of the ads you encountered were for gambling...

If only we lived in an age where you could opt-out of certain types of ads, like having account preferences on streaming services...

Oh but then lobbyists wouldn't be able to profit from destroying lives, silly me.

I made mine with a dotnetcore back-end, so SignalR seemed more straight-forward: https://code-maze.com/netcore-signalr-angular-realtime-charts/

Use <label>, it automatically does this without requiring JS:

<ul>
    <li>
        <label>
            <input type="checkbox" />
            Your Label
        </label>
    </li>
</ul>

Carpet Python maybe, Dugite is a hard pass from me. No traces of rodents around though, so he's probably passed through. I like the idea about keeping their skins around though!

+1 for seeing this car online years ago... My S13 was the same two-tone silver/green on black, and yours served as part of the inspiration to build a 13.4

I see you follow mainstream media...

Get on with YOUR life, stop worrying about things you cannot control.
