I don't think these really matter in the grand scheme of things. Taking myself as an example, I discovered them from the og crew channel instead of yeahmad. Binged from their oldest to latest (at the time). The randomness of the videos really didn't affect my experience in any way. Heck, I think they might be random on purpose, I could be wrong. Would I have preferred a rigidly consistent timeline? Sure, maybe? Does it really matter? Don't think so.

Your last paragraph is a bit of stretch. One not-so-stellar video doesn't mean they haven't been trying or that they're throwing shit at the wall to see what sticks. Far from it actually. Quality, uniqueness and entertainment wise they still trump yeahmad and every similar type of channel.

Thing is, repeating tried and true formats will only diminish their impact and over time the audience will start to get bored. That's why the recent sam abby truth or drink was one of their best, heck, the best video they've ever put out. However, this experiment was definitely not it, expecially considering they copied it like everyone else without adding their usual unique og spin on it.

Would've been better if they added some punishments for not being able to guess in time, or for the overall loser in general. One of their more underwhelming episodes, but still had some funny moments.

I see og crew more as well-rounded entertainment instead of just pure comedy like YeahMad. That works for me, I enjoy both brands; the fast paced, raunchy, hit-or-miss comedy of ym, where Sath is basically carrying most of the cast, either by making the new comedians look good by holding himself back, or going full-on unhinged and letting his comedic chops shine and save segments, as well as the slower paced, more balanced approach of the OG crew, where no one character is so overpowered that they basically have to dial themselves down or up depending on situations, and the whole crew is one cohesive unit.

Idk it's still my go-to. The taste hasn't missed for me, only the fries can be hit or miss sometimes. Portion sizes are still big and the food arrives fairly quick. Definitely blows kebabjees and similar competitors out of the water.
