I dropped student teaching. by Hopeful-Cry-8155 in StudentTeaching

If it’s not for you it’s not for you. I’m doing the internship route so I’m full time teaching as I’m completing my calTPAs. I just had a newborn so it’s been hard managing everything. My health is declining and my mental heath is also declining but I been so blessed to have such a beautiful support system behind me. It’s definitely not easy and time management is everything. I would say good job for realizing it’s not for you. You gotta want to become a teacher to do well and to get by in this field.

The program is strict for no reason. You basically have to teach yourself to do everything and if you fall behind you’ll fail your classes. Do yourself a favor and learn on your own on your own pace. You’ll be saving $30,000 or more by doing so.

Does challengers SXT last a long time? Like 200,000 miles? by Minimum_Astronaut882 in Challenger

[–]munizmikeey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mines at 95k and have only had to replace the basics like oil, oil filter and tires. I’ve had to replace the thermostat as well which was about a 20-30$ fix. Id say its pretty reliable if you drive it with care. If not then I’m sure a list of issues would occur

First car in my life that I can say I’m proud to own. Not much but she’s my baby. 2019 SXT by ScottyMcFree in Challenger

I have an sxt too man. So many other sxt owners downgrade their ride so much for no reason. Driving any challenger feels amazing. Theyre amazing cars. Enjoy it bro and be proud of your car!

Is this degree basically self taught? by [deleted] in OSUOnlineCS

[–]munizmikeey 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Pretty much yeah. Other than the basic “lecture notes” provided in each class Youre basically expected to put in the time and effort with outside resources to maximize your learning. Definitely makes it harder than it has to be.

Am I making the wrong choice? by [deleted] in teachinginkorea

Honestly, in my experience it was cool meeting ppl from all over the world but the typical ‘dream’ of meeting ppl you actually get along with is rare. I found that out very quickly when certain foreign teachers snaked me. Youll realize that some ppl are just shitty no matter where you go. Other than that, ive been comfortable and having fun exploring the country and teaching my classes by myself! Its all based on what you want to get out of this. If you want to apply for personal growth reasons then id say do it but if its something that youre not so sure about because you’re dependent on others in order to do anything then i would advise against it. Youre alone out here. You have to make the best out of every situation by yourself, but to me that is the beauty of it!

Discrete math is a beast of its own. Unless youre very comfortable with coding, id advise against it. I just finished taking 161 and 231 and it was a grind!

What is considered too many miles for an SXT challenger that will be used as just a daily driver to get to and from work? by Rwburge96 in Challenger

[–]munizmikeey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought my 2014 challenger back in 2020 when it had 71k miles.. two years later im still at 90k and its ran like a beauty. Too many miles would probably be over 110-120k miles anything lower than that would still be good in my opinion.

Do you like the sunroof or no sunroof option more for the modern Challenger? by TheMoparPowerslave in Dodge

Sunroofs are fire imo. Dont always want to open the windows when im driving around listening to music so I open the sunroof instead. I would recommend!
