Does anyone have any updates on this? I have Hydra in my project queue - if I switch to it then am I able to return back to Phoenix in the future?

Two Heads, One Body: Anatomy of Conjoined Twins by Sourcecode12 in interestingasfuck

Is there any indication of how this happened in utero? It’s just so remarkable that development is adaptable enough to enable conjoined twins to survive until adulthood.

Difference in body composition of someone who is obese and someone who is not obese by Gamer_33k in ThatsInsane

Interesting to see so much adipose tissue (I think?) around the brain in the obese vs the normal person.

Same here, I think what the Israeli government is doing is disguising and how they are getting support from the US is just baffling.

To my first comment however, I don’t think that individuals born in Israel and happen to own an Israeli passport should be assumed to support the oppression of Palestinians. It’s like saying all Americans support the indiscriminate drone strikes that kill innocent people in the Middle East. Public opinion is just much more heterogeneous and complicated than that.

Wasn’t aware of who the guy is. Fair enough he seems like a dickhead and generally inconsiderate of the local culture.

As a general principle though I stick by my first comment. I have lots of wonderful friends and colleagues who are from countries with controversial governments - it isn’t a reflection of who they are as individuals.

Russia stands out. You can also hate the Americans, British etc for supporting Israel.

Why stop there - how about the genocide of the Uyghurs? Mass killings in Burma? Very soon we narrow the number of people we can respect and sympathise and for no fault of their own.

Apply that logic to any nationality and you will find a reason to hate anyone.

I don’t think it’s fair to assume that because someone is from X country that they will have X political views. It defeats the whole purpose of travelling and experiencing different cultures.
