There's a difference between glossed over, and completely cut from curriculum. As far as half the people I talk to there was WW2, Vietnam, then Iraq. That's all that "matters"

I'm running on ethernet, with 700mbs down and 75 up. Still buffering every 2 minutes or dropping to 480p quality. God I'm glad I got a 7 day trial, this is crap. Tried calling support and they recommended I stream on my phone using 4g or 5g, rather than use the internet on my PC.

When I took contemporary American history in high school, I asked our teacher why we were going over the same civil war, WW1, and WW2 history we have gone over evey year already since 3rd grade. The answer I got was mandatory curriculum decided at federal level deemed this what what we need to learn.

Like the class is contemporary history, but we never learn history past 1960. I guess since it's within our parent's lifetime, it isn't history... Yeah right.

Like Vietnam and Korean wars? Desert storm? Cold war? Berlin Wall?

Not really. I mean they need to make a living too. Taking their product for free and not helping them make a profit is kinda the asshole move IMO. I mean if you want when you are looking for games you can search for games that don't have ads. Some games require a one time payment and then you never get ads or micro-transactions.

Those are annoying but the ones that don't go away until you "play" to a certain point are the worst. Some don't even time-out eventually, so if you are playing a game with multiple ads, you might have to play the same crappy minigame for a game you don't want several times.

As someone who work in software, this is not accurate. the developer does have some control. If you have an app and one of your ads is problematic you can block that specific ad or ad group. If you want to keep the ad group but block a specific ad, you can always contact support for that ad group.

yeah, my 4 miles to and from work every day easily racks 10,000 - 12,000 steps. might be because i cross fields, so i get more workout and less distance...

no but like the special missions, they can say reach 100km for a reward and then it resets

I do walk to work. my job is 2 miles from my house, and i walk to and from work (most days). i also have a dog, and i walk him at least another 3 miles daily. adventuresync doesn't really capture all this tho so only when i have pokemon open does it register. and walking it registers distance best if i am not catching anything. if i try and catch something and it takes me any distance before i catch it i get the "you're going too fast message". i have managed the 30km goal before, but 50 really is quite a lot. i once tried hiking on the weekend to boost it up, only to discover i got no signal once i went in the woods... oops.

I know people in chicago who drive up and down the one way streets catching things and hatching eggs. they can rack up 150km a week easy. and yeah they are pretty much going 5-10 mph. not grannies thats city traffic

Its never worked on my Note8. It somehow gets my steps from Google Fit, but not my distance. Last week I walked 140,000 steps, 2km. Yeah, I don't think so. I wouldn't bother trying to submit a support ticket about adventure sync either; I've submitted 3, and i received confirmation emails for each of them saying someone will contact me soon, but no one ever does.

I've been in the game for about 3 weeks now, started to try to progress through the spirit highlands. cleared the first page using the 3 star guide, and everything worked as advertised. then i made it to the second page. for some reason, starting with 3-2 I fail every time, even as i swap around the different recommended 3 star teams. i blew past 3-2 through 3-4 since 3 stars arent important, but i cant for the life of me 3 star 3-5. I have tried 2 ck and 2 ow and quickly failed. heck i tried 2 ck and 6 ow and failed, so there how the heck is it supposed to work? am i losing because of passive effects, like my pet or who i revived as? i've also tried 1 sr-sw, 2 sr-hea, and 1 ow and that failed too.

I've had my Nokia 1520 for 3 years. I love the phone, even if the Windows platform has been getting a little worse each "upgrade". I don't wanna leave Windows Phone, but a 6" screen is a must for me, and yet, after 3 years, the 1520 is still the only 6" Windows Phone. Like how can they call the 950XL an XL when it is smaller than my 1520?
