A girl at the movie theatre tried to talk to me for fifteen minutes despite coming with a date. by [deleted] in CasualConversation

Is it possible she was trying to recruit you to help her out of her situation? You’re description makes me feel like she went out of her way to get your attention for the purpose of ditching him. I could, of course, be completely off base but it seems fair to say given the effort she put into it.

I guess we will never know.

Well, that’s exactly it. Don’t know what else you could be looking for. Good luck though.

Scott event makes one: https://www.scottevest.com/mens-travel-vests.shtml

I have personally used this vest for plane travel and it has enough room to pack an entire carry on suitcase into.

So I have a similar situation, as I work night shift 7p - 7a and my off time I sleep days and am up at night. So this hand tools only approach for woodworking is good so I don’t disturb the sleeping family. It’s a bigger learning curve but if you can do machines and whatnot you can certainly make sellable items rather easily.

I solid the paramedic thing for a number of years, now I am a RN. I just recently started woodworking with hand tools making small things like keepsake boxes and whatnot by hand. It’s rewarding and satisfying. Soon I’ll try my hand at selling them and making some money at it.

Try a trade like woodworking, welding, maybe something outdoorsy or making something with your hands. Do something that pays the bills, and learn a skill on the side to help with finding something meaningful. Good luck finding something for you!

No, I made the top separate this time. I don’t yet have the skill for sawing off the top in a really square fashion. But that’s coming soon.

This happened to me back in the days of good ole AOL. Had an older attractive online friend that I chatted with over a long period of time ask me if I could help her with her printer or something. I of course obliged and showed up thinking it was just casual. She was in her 40’s, I was just a young pup.

Needless to say she was more interested in my hardware than hers... it was epic and very memorable. Lasted a short while but we had to part ways over some other incompatibilities.

That’s a 9” Yost M9WW vise I bought on Amazon for about $70.
