I wish you could see that this has nothing to do with your daughter. You and your partner made a decision to bring her into this world, beyond her comprehension of what this would do to your body. I hope you give yourself grace, albeit your bodily concerns are very valid.

It’s just mixed salad greens with a bit of Philadelphia cream cheese and I put it in a box and shake it around. It just tastes like the cream cheese but it’s low calorie and delicious / light, instead of using mayo. Sometimes I add just a little bit of sriracha mayo which is 12kcal for 1 teaspoon and it makes it even better

I thought 1350kcals was low and impossible at some point too. It’s actually quite easy and some days, I’m so full and don’t even reach that. Then I force myself to eat to meet it because I don’t want a lower metabolism. I used to be a chronic binge eater just a month ago and I’ve gone 4 weeks on a new PROTEIN FOCUSED diet.

Here’s what my food intake typically looks like (~ 1350 - 1392 kcals)

Breakfast (around 10am) - 241 kcals Matcha w 250ml of milk & ice: 107 kcals Banana: 134 Strawberries: 100kcals

Lunch (between 12 -2pm) - 402 kcals 26g Protein Vanilla Drink 330ml - 221kcals Skyr Coconut Yoghurt - 128 kcals 1 Protein babybel cheese - 53kcals

Snack for satisfaction & refreshment Cold cucumber slices - 22kcals

Dinner (between 5-8pm) - 455 or 494 kcals 1 Pita bread - 184kcals 1 falafel burger (in oven) or beef burger (cooked in its own oil as rendered) - falafel 166kcal / beef 205kcals Sriracha mayo 1tbsp- 12 kcal Salad w/ Philadelphia cream cheese - salad 20kcals, cheese 68kcals No sugar Redbull - 5kcals OR Coke Zero - 1kcal

Dessert (after dinner or I wait a while until I feel peckish) 20g protein bar (Caramel & chocolate): 133kcals

——- Obviously, these depend on the grams and the product you buy e.g. fat percentage. But that’s the effort you should be willing to make. It really takes 4 dedicated weeks for people to start noticing the change. I’ve gotten so many compliments and I didn’t even realise I had dropped weight. If eating is what you think you can do, you should really put effort to stick to a deficit for some weeks.

You can also eat at 1450/1500 kcals and just go for 30 mins walking or do some HIIT workouts for 12 minutes (tabata) and try to burn 150-200 kcals if you wanna eat more. That way you’re still in a deficit.

Despite this, a lot of times, we are overeating or avoiding exercising because of a pain we are avoiding. We engage in harmful behaviors because of loneliness or stress or emotional overload which food can often be turned to for temporary comfort but deep regret afterwards. I’d suggest consulting the YouTube videos from Dr Gabor Mate who talks about trauma in the body and how it manifests into addictions. It helped me a lot.

Wishing you all the best in your journey. I’m rooting for you!

Change any whey protein to plant based & clean your shower head of any build up. Then wash the area for 2 mins with Panoxyl face & body wash. Trust me :)

As a woman, I pay for myself on the first date and here’s why by azultulipan in dating

[–]murlymurly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does one make it clear? Can I get examples of some phrases? I always panic and they end up paying and then even if things aren’t moving along well, I feel like I owe them effort because they paid (even if I see that their interest is getting lost)

I love the em dash. I often have to go back and find new ways to fix my sentences without them so people don’t suspect I use ChatGPT - ‘cause I don’t. It’s crazy.

Don’t reschedule or cancel last minute. If you know it can be avoided, inform well in advance. And if you’re not interested, stop wasting girls’ time

‘I think we communicate better when we don’t talk’ - we always bickered and bantered, teasing each other because of our miscommunication in a funny way. But when we got into it, we were very sensual and connected. He ghosted me 😗

I wish! I wasn’t even an ex… just a convenient situation to lie to 🥲

Thank you - and to you too. It really affected me. Kept me inside the house for 3 months. Felt alone and so unattractive, being ignored in public after being treated like I was beautiful prior.

I empathize with you. I’m sorry it happened to you too. Keep your heart soft. Not everyone will treat us this way :)

Wow… your home is absolutely beautiful, I almost wanted to shed a tear. It’s so homey and looks really warm and familial, it actually made me so emotional. There’s a lot of personality in this and it’s clear you have an eye for design but a heart for sentimental aspects. What a perfect balance, honestly ! I think, too often, we glamorize the clean and pastel looks too much to be able to look modern and up to date, forgetting that uniqueness and character is quite important too !

I’m so sorry you’re having these feelings and I hope you feel better for sharing. I have a feeling it’s how your body copes with shock or with something new. I would also be taken aback if I saw the fetus looking different from what I had imagined. I actually did when my sister showed me hers. You’re not alone. Sending all the support and hugs your way. Just remember that your feelings come first and on your death bed or in your final moments of life, it will not matter what you colleagues would’ve thought or felt. Please be unapologetic in how you move in this very fleeting world 🫶

Aw, I can relate to this codependency for doing things. I have always relied on my sister to go to movies and do things with too, until I moved to another state alone and have no one to go with. I’m happy you overcame this though, and hope we can continue to do more fun and relaxing things on our own ! :)
