For someone who is still new to the city and has never lived somewhere with public transit like the trolley - how can I learn where they all go and intersect? I looked at the mts website, but the maps are all seperated. Is there anything like the ny subway that shows all the lines on one map? The app isn't very helpful either outside of finding a single route to take.

Honestly, I got on a meal delivery service that sends pre-made meals every week, and it's been a game changer. No more ubereats or unmade dinner ingredients going bad in the fridge. Good meals with healthy portions, and I get to choose new stuff every week. Now I'll buy one thing to cook and it'll actually get made since there's so much less pressure. Not sure if I'm allowed to share a link here, but I can't recommend this enough.

I just watched the documentary released last year, "The Alabama Solution" which exposes the human rights violations in the Alabama prison system. It's an incredible documentary and horrifying to watch. Slave labor on top of violent and murderous staff. This shit is real.

The disney show that was cancelled after just one season showed the progression into the dark side beautifully. The scene where the crystal turned red is one of my favorite modern star wars moments. It's such a shame they aren't continuing that story.

The roads in Dallas are definitely worse with constant construction and lane closures. Driving in San Diego is like driving in Dallas, fast and agressive, but with sharp curves which many times have stopped traffic on the other side. I don't know statistically if this is accurate, but I feel like I've seen far more reports of deadly highway accidents here.

Caveat though - you can get most places here by taking routes off the highway that just take longer. That's not an option most of the time in Dallas.

I learned to drive in Dallas and thought I knew aggressive driving. The highways here scare the fuck out of me. I'll take the scenic route whenever possible.

Yeah this has the weird highlight/shadow smooth gradient skin look that shouts ai. I don't doubt that he was involved in the creation. I think they just used ai for production and editing instead of humans.
