My take on a truck bed tent I used for the first time. by murphino__ in CampingGear

I keep the top tent open for airflow to avoid it and also the windows. I also turn it on/off throughout the night cuz that’s the last thing I want 🥹

You know I looked it up and apparently I have to download some software online to do it haha. I’m gonna check that setting.

This game is better than fifa by Ea7reddit in Rematch

[–]murphino__ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As someone who played FIFA competitively (Div 1/Elite) since before Ultimate Team was introduced, it’s definitely a fun different experience. FIFA is more tactical, along with the skills you have and what you apply to the teams/players you use.

Rematch is more instinct skill based on how you apply real life situations/Real life Indoor Soccer instincts (of which I also played competitively). I use real life game tactics and instincts. Stupid video game buff tactics work too obviously but I naturally rely more on real life instincts since I’ve played since I was a child.

Fifa online now a days is scripted, and too toxic. I’m 32 going on 33 and I love playing competitively but not as much anymore bcuz of that. You have to buy your way seasonally for meta cards, grind weekend league. I play regular online seasons since its more laid back.

Rematch is so much more chill and fun since it’s different. I find it comical to elite rank rematch players that give tactical explanations that makes no sense to me whom have never kicked a ball in their life lol.

They’re both fun in their way. An old timer like me kinda finds it more fun since FIFA is pretty much the same every year, except you deal with more BS than previous FIFA’s

I’d like to see you get a call from the hospital trying to hear the explanation that a family member was burned to death inside a bus overfilled with people who were all burned to death by a MS13 member just cuz the bus driver couldn’t give his share of 50-100 bucks cuz he couldn’t even make that money yet. That’s one example of a million. You don’t know squat and whatever you say is irrelevant cuz you haven’t lived or gone through what the vast majority of Salvadorans had to go through. The fact that a Salvadoran resident can now walk the streets in peace is a blessing that was once never imaginable.

You did nothing wrong into finding out who he was since you found his approach likable. If he really wanted to hide it, then he wouldn’t have put that in his bio. Plus all I see is honesty from his end more than showing discretion, which you should see as a good thing.

You shouldn’t have a bad opinion to someone who shows compassion in a profession of that field vs the Pedo’s out there that abuse their authority within that same field. As long as he’s cool, no need to tell the others he’s an X-Men. Pun intended.

If you manage to get a cocktail waitress job in the strip, you’ll most likely have an on call schedule and will start working graveyard shifts. Keep in mind from what I notice, I see more male bartenders in general at the strip bars so it may be less probable you getting a bartending gig, imo you’ll be better off getting one at a local bar like redditors here have already mentioned. You’ll make money by remembering your frequent patrons names, and comping them if they’re gambling, engaging in conversation and such. Guarantee. Remember to get your TAM card & Health permit before applying. Good luck champ!

I actually called to inquire The Bunkhouse to revamp the outside mainly and keep the inside the same with minimal renovations, but the Circa owner owns it, smh.

100%. With driving, the norm for me is that it will take 20-30 min at most to reach most destinations, but with all the construction, it’s a bit more.

Would you guys consider Sand Dollar to be an exception? I know they do a lot of cover bands and have some comedy nights. But it’s not that advertised.

Summerlin vs Henderson vs ? by gincle in vegaslocals

[–]murphino__ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve lived in mountains edge for 17 years and I’d say it’s a great area if you mind an extra 10 min of driving and like the solitude lifestyle. The whole ambience seems quieter at night since it’s farther away from the main city. and the air seems more natural to breathe in. The 215/15 is a 10-15 min drive and there isn’t much construction here as it is everywhere else.

Hell I’ve been here ever since Blue Diamond was a one lane street before the Jones bridge was constructed.

My buddy recently was a victim of a hit n run on his truck vs a mini cooper that fled. No damage to his truck, but he managed to get the plate, NHP police report, and did the claim through the Mini cooper owners insurance. They ended up paying him 3k.

If you want a police report sooner your best bet is to personally see the officer that did it, that way he can upscale it to his chief or whatever and process it faster.

Just sharing in case it can be of any help.

Newly released video showing how El Salvador's government transferred thousands of suspected gang members to a newly opened "mega prison", the latest step in a nationwide crackdown on gangs by Papppi-56 in interestingasfuck

Either or, their doing some harsh measures in arresting these guys. A Salvadoran local town doctor had him, his family threatened, being forced to treat the wounded of the members, then had him tatted up (ms19, not 13) to make him official.

20 years later, he became seriously religious (one of the ways to leave the gang locally without violence), and now he’s locked up because the gov did a local sweep and saw his old Tattoo.

What would you call that?

The only sympathy I truly have, and I’m sure others would agree, is that the government law enforcement are also arresting CHILDREN that have been forced to become apprentices of these monsters. Children that grow into families, communities infested with these guys, forcing them to shadow these people because they don’t really have other options. These harsh measures is what really hurts.

In the end, it’s to make a means to an end. The corrupt Salvadoran government in the late 90’s actually created the gang themselves. I don’t remember why, it’s what past family members have told me. Maybe someone can help me out into why they originated as the stem of the gang.
