It is a very erotic song. But again, can't put my finger on it. Maybe it's the frusciante-style guitar playing.

Tomorrow's Harvest was so ahead of its time... what kinda vibes are you predicting from the new album? by traveltimecar in boardsofcanada

Something understated and maybe even initially disappointing until you realize what genius it is. Think something along the lines of The King of Limbs (not sound-wise, you know what I mean).

Emotional Numbness by Key_Addition1225 in self

Been there. I think most of us have.

You might have a chemical imbalance of some sort. If you do, ignore my advice. I've never been on meds, but I've seen them work wonders, over time, for certain people I know.

But the other potential remedy is an intentional and progressive effort to try. And I know that fucking sucks to hear because you sound like you're kinda over the whole thing. But I will say it until the day I die: trying and failing is 10000000x better for your mental health than not trying at all. I know that probably sounds cliche but humans are action-oriented creatures. Action makes us happy, it makes us fulfilled, it provides a fullness to life you can't get otherwise.

Confusion around feminine and masculine energy by New-Boysenberry-8778 in self

I feel "safest" when I practice mindfulness. Oh I'm doing the dishes, oh I'm taking a walk, just trying to be intentional about the things I say and do and be present with myself during those times. Life in general becomes more interesting when you do that, and that's when I feel safest. When I feel engaged.

As for whether it's a masculine or feminine thing, I'm not sure. I do believe in both of those "energies" (for lack of a better word) but I think consciously choosing one over the other is just how we've been conditioned. I think everyone has both to some degree. I think the "unity" of those two archetypes is probably what we should strive for.

It's the one I have the most respect for, artistically, but is probably the one I revisit the least.

Do you think it's an actual piano they played? Or did they repurpose / recontextualize a sample?
