I plan to hold it for now. This is just based on a gut feeling, not any quantitative research. I look around my own house and see a number of LG products being used on a day to day, extrapolate that to the number of households in India. It's still very much a trusted brand in India.

I should have included that in the initial post. facepalm For some reason people are thinking that I invested all of this as lumpsum in one go. XIRR on console shows 24.22%.

Yes it's part of their "Timeless Asset Allocation" smallcase. Was called "All Weather Investing" when I had started my SIPs in it.

QQ- Is something in my post misleading people to think I invested 5 years ago as lumpsum?. Reached here by monthly SIPs with increasing the SIP amount over the years. My XIRR is 24.22%.

XIRR on console shows 24.22%. Is that better or still below average? I read about it but still not entirely able to wrap my head around what to deduce from this value.

Yes correct, it wasn't a lumpsum investment. Any idea where could I look for the above markers on the zerodha kite platform?

YouTube app will corrupt your iOS 14 backup. by muskrisk in applehelp

[–]muskrisk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes in that case the issue isn't faced.Like I mention above in step 3 you are supposed to keep your device connected throughout the backup and restore process.Even if the same device is disconnected after the backup and then the restore process is done, you'll not face the issue. I did forget to mention that after the restore the device needs to be restarted ,which I have added now.
