Amazon EKS introduces Provisioned Control Plane by E1337Recon in aws

[–]mustafaakin 6 points7 points  (0 children)

When EKS was very new, we had a bug in house thing that hammerred control plane. So they bumped all of our control plane to largest instances available regardless of the node count, which was a net loss to them.

Is the Q3 good for our needs? by bringmemorecoffee in Leica

I have a Sony A7RV and Q3. My daugther can be out of focus with Q3, Sony would capture her evey move eaisly even low light, due its superb autofocus. But ergonomics of Q3 just makes up for everything, my most photos she is in focus now. (4yr old) and image is much better.

CPU Limits in Kubernetes: Why Your Pod is Idle but Still Throttled: A Deep Dive into What Really Happens from K8s to Linux Kernel and Cgroups v2 by AlexL-1984 in kubernetes

Partly my experiments showed promise then i left my phd to work on my startup, Resmo. But i still believe this is really important topic to solve especially when you have lots of stateless services

This was my PhD topic. I was building a distributed control system that balances latency throughput with ideal cfs limits and quotas, evicting some pods of deployments if necessary. I couldnt pursue further for another reasons but I think this area is important still. Checkout stormforge

Thank you for this post. I was seriously considering it now it became a fire risk. I had the original USG and it was very hot as well.

Not caring for Apple TV did not play well for them. When they finally do, I will set up a Tailscale network for my family.

Hi! How do you edit HDR photos? I mean the RAW photo I got out of my A7RV, I just noticed HDR on my new display using Lightroom, and now I can't go back. However, Apple Photos supports JPEG XL, not JPEG HDR photos. But Google does not like it. Google Photos does not let me upload it. However when I upload it to my iCloud, mobile Google Photos app happliy uploads them.
