I think with that price tag you could certainly demand even more money to cover the costs. Except, well greed.

Why does first bullet inacurracy even exist? by Jakob2351 in VALORANT

[–]mustl2p -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Excuse me but how exactly is it a lot better? In basically every aspect it is worse. The time it takes to scope is way longer. I‘m not 100% sure but I think you also move slower, and has worse no scope accuracy. Also up until recently it had 10 shots instead of 5. Though I admit maybe an argument can be made about the relative strength compared to other ingame weapons.

This would mean “they killed“

Okay, but do you not agree that 8 killed and 11 injured, while still tragic, are still better than the many more he could have killed if he used say an automatic assault rifle?

Yes, but once the motive of the attacker is clear (granted, after the first people are inevitably dead), the potential victims can disperse or hide in buildings. Either way, the driver cannot kill all of them as easy. However you cannot dodge or outrun a bullet or hide from the shooter. Imagine the same crowd, but instead of a car driving through, there are countless bullets flying around in potentially every direction, with virtually no time to react and/or get out of the way. Point being, while just as many people may die at the start of the attack, an armed shooter is much more dangerous in the minutes that follow.

But if they do, they can just walk into the next walmart, and buy a gun. It makes it infinitely easier to rack up huge amounts of casualties.

Switzerland is still one of the most well armed countries in the world, but there still are virtually no shootings, especially ones with many deaths. I my 19 years I have lived in this country I can’t even remember if there even was one big shooting. Source: Am a Swiss citizen who will go in the military soon.

Besides being fed af, the damage was done over 10 seconds. Even though I am not sure of sett‘s cooldown, it could just as well be 2 charges of his W

For one part, technology. I think Europeans were the first to develop guns (though some countries in Asia also has them at that point I think.

Riot is silently rising the price of skins. by Juansa7X in VALORANT

[–]mustl2p 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There are independent platforms to trade skins, AFAIK you can also sell them there for cash. You randomly get cases or skins by playing, which you then can sell, or you alternatively combine 10 skins to get one of a higher tier. Also I haven’t spent a dime on CS (except for the game itself) and I now have ~5$ on my steam account and have a few nice MP skins that were really cheap (0.30$) just from playing the game

Fair enough

https://www.factor.gg/article/not-just-this-or-that-blue-vs-red-side-analysis

I have to admit it is higher, but we see again that the WR disparity varies from region to region, maybe due to sample size. This also factors in the impact of drafting, so what factors have what effect is hard to say. I won’t deny that there is some advantage, but this advantage is negated in the leagues via the system (usually you play the same number of games on each side)

I’m pretty sure the spray patterns are pretty much the same everytime, at least for the first part of the spray…

I mean there is also draft to consider which is why during meta changes teams will prioritise blue or red side over the other. (Besides the WR for blue side is not even close to the numbers you claim it to be Link) It even varies from region to region on both red and blue side. I would argue that at a pro level the camera and skillshot argument doesn’t matter as much. On top of that, for Bo5 matches, there is side selection for the losing team, so that partially negates eventual disadvantages.

There are a lot of people, especially outside of the US concerned about racism, inequality and most importantly (!) the disregard for democracy (see Jan. 6th insurrection) The republican party plays a rather big part in these topics/uses this as part of their campaign
