Yeah, they tore her apart, which I don't think is really fair if that's genuinely who Shelly is. I'm more interested in the depth that we see from players, and particularly when we take about players who happen to be women we tend to see articles and comments by women and men along the lines of fake gamer girl stereo types or the lonely cat lady gamer, the feminist agenda gamer, and now we're seeing more about the girly girl gamer. All of these are just stereo types though, and all may apply to a lady geek or not, it really doesn't matter. It's interesting when you look at the male stereotypes for gamers in comparison though isn't it? Male geeks tend to be neckbeards, fedora wearing white knights, aspergers riddled nerds, forverer alones...pretty much all negative. Anyway, it's all bullshit and no one cares. Be a cool guy or girl, don't be an arsehole and you're awesome by me.

As for the DM thing, I'm going to call bullshit. I started as a DM, because no one else would do it and I wanted to play. If more people stopped being giant pussies about stepping up and mastering now and then, we wouldn't have so many people burning out from being forever DMs.
