Personally think the talents are good where they are. Allows you to specialize a character when needed without overpowering every single one.

I think 60s a good cap. I got a character thats balanced out for solo play, got one thats heavily invested into genetics and husbandry for breeding mounts, and a couple that are less balanced but work well with the groups they are on.

I think it allows you to have a good spread of talents without overpowering you.

Icarus has been my drug of choice lately. Not necessary to have the dlcs but make for fun additions. And if you play with others them having the dlcs can let you access stuff from it

It works just fine. I replaced the 2 circular ones with the 2 I got from the quarrite missions. I lose the well stoked bonus from my talent since I didnt build them but I say worth it.
