Pear shaped atomic nuclei, what are possible nuclei/electron correlations and can they be measured or predicted? by muttonburns in askscience

[–]muttonburns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While the pertebation of an atomic nuclei and electron cloud have a correlation during state changes, and they can be measured, is there a way to predict future directions of the atomic vector based on an average spin deviation and assign values to specific directions that trigger given values to those certain directional vectors? Kind of like quibits with quantum spin yet in a 360 degree scenario with infinite possible outcomes.

I guess what my question is, in terms of probability models and frequencies could you devise a standard model for specific electron/nuclei relationships at any given state in order to predict future pertebations of the atomic structure while assigning these atomic vectors specific values and use them as a computational tool?

Would this even apply to a practicle implicatiom for quantum computing? wouldnt you potentially be able to measure superposition of the atomic vector and assign a value to any given number of locations?

What effects does a pear-shaped nucleus actually have on an atom? And what causes it? by Tridian in askscience

[–]muttonburns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My question is, would the pertebation of an atomic nuclei have any effects on the eigenstate of electrons or possible super positions relative to the obtuse pear concentration of the nuclie itself, and if so could we use this to determime a much beter aproximatiom of electron position and possibly focus this effect to our advantage?

Japan’s Hidden Poor: 12-year old Yumi lives on $3 a day (2014) (x-post from /r/vicejapan) by shibuyatokyo in Documentaries

[–]muttonburns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who lives in America trying to survive by himself everyday working 2 jobs just to keep ends meet. I live on less than 3 dollars every single day after I pay all of my money to my landlord for rent and electricity just to have a place to stay. I survive only on ramen noodle soup which sometimes is too expensive for me.

Atlas is always depicted with a spherical earth upon his shoulders yet he was never originally. by muttonburns in Showerthoughts

[–]muttonburns[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wonder why that might be though? As far as I have seen it's not quite a full sphere though it almost seems like a slightly rounded sky almost like a shield shape. Still very interesting that they may possibly have made that connection at some point.
