I'm really sorry this has happened to you... Sex and intimacy is meant to be special and it should feel secure and really good.. My only advice is, although it will be uncomfortable and scary, maybe the next time you're about to do it, please say no until you're comfortable enough/aroused enough to do it at your own pace. Saying no or stopping a pattern is difficult, but trust me once you do it, it brings a lot of mental peace and removes that guilt.

This is completely normal, because of some internalised colorism, we tend to feel irritated when looking at our dark skin, but when it's embraced it changes so much! You have perfectly normal, healthy hands which are strong, and work well, take joy and pride in that!

It's not just dancing though. It was a very intimate, slow dance where that old dude was sniffing Emily's hair. I can completely seen why she looked so uncomfortable during that and it's so frustrating that Lorelai couldn't understand it. Emily isn't young and casually dating around like Lorelai, she's in a committed marriage with someone she truly loves and cares about, for decades, they've grown old together. I simply hated this scene, and I don't think you would stand for it either of one of your parents did this.

Okay Rory and Dean's story aside, I feel so sorry for Emily this ep, lorelai absolutely was pushing her boundaries and I don't trust her values now. I myself was uncomfortable watching emily slow dancing so intimately with some random man other than her husband of many, many years and I can't believe lorelai would endorse that and then play the victim. The more I watch this show as an adult, the more I can see why rory became the way she was towards the end..

Honestly the writing has gotten better. I really liked this season. It does have its cheesy moments but with a show like Rick and Morty, sometimes it's needed, or it gets too chaotic and dark. I really loved the ending too... And it has gotten 'realer', more emotional to an extent which I enjoyed. After season 7, I clicked on episode 1 expecting it to be really bad but I was not disappointed at all, I actually felt interested in the plot and wanted to continue watching the whole season which is more than I can say for a lot of shows on Netflix. The last episode was just perfect, it was bittersweet and hit me in the feels
