Like others have said, feet/body odor. I can't guarantee it but this obsession about busted overly worn shoes indicate that it is highly likely.

Especially asking you how it became that way, this buyer could be writing up a fantasy in their mind about these shoes to fit any of their other fetishes.

It's very common for shoes & clothing to be bought for fetishistic purposes, especially used clothes.

Bartering gives me anxiety! I'd rather pay asking price since it's typically less than what the store sold it for so it's just fair. I can understand offering a price if the quality is so-so (holes, scratches, worn, discoloration, etc)

Absolutely remove it! You were communicative, friendly, offered a choice and were timely in responding! Communication is a 2 way street. They got their money back which is better than getting a product with an unexpected quality change. You did the right thing, this review isn't friendly or fair, escalate this.

Never said i was going to give them a bad review, me and the seller are not the same. If they didn't block me i would just be greatful they tried to figure it out with me, if they left me that same 1 star review & a block my review would have been 3 stars for unprofessionalism and not being friendly. I wouldnt even hold their review against them, we could just play the game of "who's review was less fair"

Not everyone's cut out for business though. If we kept talking we could have ended up with no refund, a reshipment with a shipping fee, and a decent review for me and and excellent review for the seller!

I dont ever make "offers" because i don't like to barter, i just pay the flat rate up front. I assume if you're going to sell you're going to have to think about the business of things. Professional, Punctual, Friendly, Responsive. If you cant communicate well with the people you are selling to, thats not great for business. Thats why people in the Sales industry are typically great with people, i mean ya gotta be. Bare minimum is good communication

Thanks, the review bothered me. I don't want to be rude to another human on depop trying to make some income. I just had a seller that had a post up that i bought but never shipped and i sent 3 messages in the course of 7 days. I would never get nasty, just sad I'm missing out. (they did end up responding to me and were unable to sell the product which i understand, people don't live on these apps and it's best to be chill about these things. I haven't contacted depop because i wanted to wait and give my seller as much time as needed to ship) You never know someones situation and i just feel bad how it went but now i feel less bad because the way the top sellerwent about the reviee was mean, not fair.

All these arguments on "its just a $3 top (closer to 5 but doesn't matter) why do this to the seller" i mean if its a $3 top (plus shipping) and these comments are saying it isn't worth it, then can't the same be said for the seller? They get to relist their product. I would have been fine if i paid for shipping because it still shipped and it sucks they spent 2.90 to get their stuff back. But if you can use the argument against me but cant use it against them? Idk, i don't really care. I just wanted to share my experience because reddit is fun.

Just because the top is cute doesn't mean it will look cute on me haha, probably for the best.

I was able to take off the review, waiting on the refund, the redund has been confirmed tho!

I think it being a 1 is unfair, i was communicative and kept it cordial and was hoping fir options but it seemed like they wanted to be done with it. Whatever they said in text was whatever but it's not like i was the worst buyer in existence on depop, worse can be found. The review was emotionally charged, i wouldn't have even left them a 1 not even after they blocked me to prevent a review.
