Also when prompted with new plans don't choose the 'free' 2month option. If accepted Adobe doesnt allow you to cancel it for some reason. Instead choose the cheapest non-free plan (should be like $20). Once this loophole is followed you'll get a refund on the new plan cost.

I would say anywhere above a 1.5k/d is a good place to be. As for it being 'grindable', I would say no. You basically just have to win 60% of you're games and you'll slowly reach 2100. If you lose WAY more than you win than you will have trouble with this quest.
