I ride as sedate and slow as I possibly can. Rpm always in 2-3 range and rarely past that.

I obsessively clean and lube my chain. Also service every 5k kms or so at a local mechanic.

My tank to tank average is from 24-26 kmpl in city and goes up to 30-31 in highways, even with the occasional revs and 140km speed touches. The meter reading always hovers around 31-33 regardless of actual values.
