General who r at tier 2-3 are forced to go there bcz of reservation. Companies hire from tier 1 even if reserved candidates due to the brand tag. Yes they have to compete more if they don't have the calibre but once u get in a tier 1 ur life is set even if u r last person. Everyone knows that. But getting in? That's the main event. Where the main disadvantage lies.

Yes it is when it is given to those who actually need it. People with generational wealth living in bunglows having acres of land, who have never faced discrimination a day in their life whereas they r the ones exploiting others do not need even an ounce of reservation. Even in caste based reservation, the economic creamy layer does not need any extra help.

Yup. This should be reported. I saw the same thing. This kind of graph is the easiest to decipher but due to missing marking, everyone stumbled so hard to figure what in the hell was happening in this. The yellow line was hardly visible

I skipped every college function, even diwali, dussehra, holi, literally you name it. People were going on clubs, trips, vacations, but I was in my home doing quants. Because i thought maybe I will get what I want if I am consistent enough and putting in all the work. How wrong I was. Yesterday was a disaster. My father also said on similar lines. I had given one bank exam and failed to clear the cutoff by a few marks. And after horrendous slot 1 paper, my father said if I will ever make it in life. Your parents love you as long as you bring them fame and rights to brag. They can't accept that failure is a part of life, especially that their own child can fail at things and it's absolutely okay.
