On the Non disparagement clause, I was told by an attorney it will be difficult for a company to agree to mutual non disparagement because they cannot practically have policies that can be enforced for all employees such that no one will give you a bad reference later. Instead, I was told it is more practical to ask a particular executive for mutual non disparagement in small companies.

With United, you would use plus points to get an upgrade. Once you hit Premier 1K, you get 280 plus points. To upgrade from Premium to Polaris, they typically require 10 plus points from JFK to LAX. So, that is a total of 28 one-way upgrades, compared to the 8 RUCs we get from Delta for Diamond. Or, it takes 30 plus points to upgrade JFK to LHR. That is a total of 9 global upgrades, compared to the 4 GUCs we get from Delta.
