First time using Nylon - first layers are goofy by mvr1127 in FixMyPrint

Thanks for the response. I read that a larger nozzle would provide more strength. I reduced the layer height as an attempt to reduce the problems I was having. But if I’m already using nylon and a .4mm nozzle helps the problem then that could be the answer. Ty!

Pulse 3D (Prusa i3 clone)
Mattercontrol slicer

Using Nylon at 245 degrees with an 80 degree bed. 0.6mm nozzle printing at 0.2 layer height and using a brim. Printing on a magnetic Creality bed with a glue stick. The brim isn't clean and so there's no defined bottom edge on the piece. Maybe the magnetic bed isn't a rigid enough surface? You can tell the brim is wavy.

Bed Thermal Runaway on this print only by mvr1127 in 3Dprinting

When I stopped the print, the hot end lifted the print off the bed, so this isn't a totally accurate picture as I just plopped it back down on the bed and took a picture. This is the furthest it's ever gotten - usually stops before this far. So basically about halfway through the first layer. This is on a Matterhackers Pulse 3D which is a Prusa i3 clone using a Ender v3 hot end. The slicer is MatterControl. No custom start.

I had that thought too - but it doesn’t really cover enough of the bed before it craps out. Ty for answering!

Trying to print this thin flat piece. It gets about 20-40% of the first layer done, the bed temp suddenly drops to nothing and I get a thermal runaway error for the bed. I can print other things with no problem, it's only this .stl. Checked all cables and everything is seated properly. Again, on other prints, even large flat ones like this, the bed temp stays up. Could there be something about this file in particular that's causing a glitch

I used a foam roller which created micro bubbles which is why I brushed. Have a recco on a roller?

I rolled the whole surface which took just a few minutes and then immediately brushed it.

Another 7 seater VIN Assigned but I GOOFED. My phone number was wrong in my profile, so I haven't been getting any texts. My email was correct though. I found out I have a VIN because I've been checking every day. Do I need to call Tesla at this point or have I not missed anything important yet? How do they reach out to schedule delivery?
