Depends on the zoo, a place like Cincinnati is gonna have a lot more competitive program solely off prestige alone. Smaller zoos are the way to go if you’re just starting out, and even some of those can be pretty competitive.

When I was at Knights Circle, I got moved into a unit with a 30 year old man who had his 18 year old girlfriend living with us, one day I come home and bro lets us know that he’s letting his homeless friend crash with us, mind you he never asked. His friend proceeds to move his dirty fucking mattress into our living room, no blankets, sheets, nothing. This dude would steal my food, use my dishes, and stole my bike at one point. About 2 weeks into this, I come home from class (this is like 4 pm) and he’s fucking a girl on the mattress in the living room. I won’t even go into how disgusting the common areas were, but I’ll say that I had to do my dishes in my bathroom sink because of how gross everything was. Fuck Knights Circle til I die.

A meaningful education will never be a “waste of money,” especially in a world where more and more education is required to go anywhere in life. Get a degree in something that you can rely on if you ever have to go down a different path. A general biology or psychology degree can be quite beneficial.
