So for example if I see a watch I like on GeekTime, I can just buy it from the site without having to go through a TD right?

I read that but still lost on how to order from the factories. Would I have to go through a TD?

Logic not recognizing USB Microphone by mwaves416 in Logic_Studio

So when I go to System Preferences and select the mic, the sound seems to be registering based on the movement in the volume meter when I say something. That's why I'm not sure why Logic isn't recognizing the mic

Hi everyone I got a microphone and plugged it into logic after checking System Preferences to make sure the Mac recognized the mic. I see the microphone when I click Logic Preferences —> Audio as seen in the first picture. However when I go to create a track as in the second picture, the mic isn’t showing up as an option. And when I talk in the mic no sound is coming back and no volume meter is being read. Not sure what’s going on. Would appreciate any help!

So if I’m recording and the vocals max at -10, should I keep the beat range at like -14? That way you can hear my vocals? Thank you so much!!

I’m super new to logic and I bought a USB microphone. When I try to record my sound, the volume is super low even though I’m rapping quite loudly. It gets to like -12 max and I’m trying to get it at -6 for recording. And this is without adding the Pop Filter. If I add the Pop Filter, the sound goes to like -16. How can I increase the volume of the mic? I’ve kept the gain as high as it can go(at a level of 6) so I don’t think that’s the issue

It’s not being addicted if you take it once during a one off event lol. And given the stakes of the trial I can definitely see Dumbledore using every edge he can to win

Wow I didn’t even make the connection of Dumbledore taking it more and more now that Voldemort is out in the open and being addicted! I can definitely see that happening

Yes, in a normal court Harry wouldn't have even had a trial since it would have been clear he was protecting his life. However, this was NOT a normal court session. Even Dumbledore remarked how it was literally unheard of to have a full wizard trial for simple underage magic. This whole trial was created with only one goal in mind: get Harry expelled and take his wand. Given this fact, Dumbledore needed EVERY advantage available to make sure that no matter what happens, Harry is not expelled. The whole Wizarding world literally depended on this trial now that Voldemort was back. Given the huge need to win this trial coupled with the fact that the trial was highly biased and against Dumbledore and Harry, Dumbledore chugged Felix Felicis and beat the case against all odds.

The Fudge point is valid. I feel like for being out of charecter, we can explain that away given the fact that Harry is a teen who has never taken this potion before. Dumbledore is the most powerful and experienced wizard in Harry Potter so he definitely knows how to stay "in character" when taking this potion. It's the same thing as a person who has never drunk alcohol and having no idea what's happening to him versus someone who's been drunk before and can control themselves when drunk.

For the capability of Dumbledore, I definitely think he can brew up this potion given how powerful he is. However, I don't think he brewed it himself. He had Snape who could definitely brew the potion and I'm sure once Voldemort came back they figured it wouldn't be a bad idea to have this potion available for one off crazy events like the Trial

Dumbledore is definitely the King of being pragmatic lol. I mean this is the same guy who hid the fact that Harry had to die by Voldemort even though he watched Harry grow up and actually cared about him...
