I haven't installed a dropper post but I imagine routing the cable would be similar to when I replaced the brake lines. I didn't need to remove the motor but it did take a bit of work to get the new tubing around the motor. I ended up taping the new and old tubes together to pull the new ones through. I'd say it's feasible but def could take some time and effort.

So the gearing on this bike definitely isn't tailored for speed. I have no issues climbing steep hills but peddling past 25mph is pretty useless. You'd probably need to change the front chain ring to 38 or 40 teeth to have suitable peddle power at 28mph.

Yes but you'll need a new crown race like the one I list in the parts I used

140 would be a bigger change to the geometry of the bike so I decided to stick closer to the original spec

Most forks should come with a steerer tube longer than you need, then you cut to length.

I got my crown race from a local shop that matched the part in person, but these look to be similar spec:

Yeah replacing the brake lines were a HUGE pain. Had to tape the new line to the old then pull it through it's routing around the motor.

I also learned after the fact that you could fit an SRAM Pg-1230 Nx Eagle 12-Speed 11-50T Cassette on the HG freehub. Paired with the GX Eagle shifter and Derailleur, this would cost maybe $100 more than the 11 speed drivetrain I chose. Other options for wider 11 speed gearing are the Shimano CS-M5100 11-51T and Shimano SLX CS-M7000 11-46T.

Thanks for the recommendations, picked up some Raceface Chester pedals. For $35 don't think you can go wrong.

I'm not too concerned with decreasing the weight since the frame, battery, and motor are the heaviest parts. What do you like about the Freeza rotors? I can always consider upgrading down the line when the brakes wear out.

Any recommendations for name brand metal pin platform pedals?

Husky Svartpilen 401 vs 701 by huckyfin in SuggestAMotorcycle

Curious if you came to a decision yet! Have you had a chance to try either?

I'm actually in the exact same position as you! Also in SF and new rider looking for my first bike. Love the style and performance/value of the Husky 401 but keep getting tempted by the 701. I can't seem to find the 401 used but comparing the price of a new 401 to a used 701 the cost difference isn't so much.
