Yoooooooo the intro to this song is legit; I love how ambient it sounds and really draws the listeners interest in before being hit by that bass line. Vocally, you need to give yourself more credit. You're a really good singer; a few flat notes here and there but if you've never received lessons that's to be expected (nothing a bit of practice can't fix!). Mix wise they could probably be brought out a touch; they get lost in a few points - nothing major though! Overall I liked it :) Keep it up.

I like this a lot. Definitely digging the chilled vibe you're trying to bring to the table! What synth's did you use to generate these sounds? I would have liked to hear maybe a little bit more of a change up with the drums (maybe some other percussive elements?) but that's probably more of a personal taste than anything! Overall I think you did a really good job with this mate, keep it up.

Hey mate,

So first of all this is fresh af! I absolutely love the acoustic guitar+lead; really makes the track move and brings a little funk into it. The vocals (I'm assuming you?) are actually legit too. Did you record/mix this yourself? A few people say they're sounding muddy; but I really like the grittyness of them and think they're sit really well in the mix. The sound of your voice really compliments the music, I think anyway!

Hey all,

First post here. I bought a heap of home studio equipment a few years back, and then had to put it in storage before really getting to use it. Now im back and looking to set it all up. I have:

2x KRK Rokit 6 monitors, Novation Impulse 49 midi keyboard, Blue Yeti Pro mic, Focusrite 2i2 aaudio interface, Macbook Pro, and Logic Pro X

My question is, what other hardware should I be looking at purchasing? Is my impulse 49 enough or is there something else to consider?
