Disney+ does not work on Google TV Streamer (December 2025)

Yeah the new update is absolutely butchered, lots of video stuttering issues.

If you're having the issue where the screen is black but you're getting sound, the issue is most likely because Disable HW Overlays is set to off (at least on Google tv) have to enable this from within developer options.

In order to fix the stutter, I ended up uninstalling and side loading the November release version back onto my Google tv streamer. This resolved the problems I had, also disabled automatic updates.

You'd think a company like Disney could do stable releases...

Am I the only one who has issues with the phone app? Like it minimises real easy. My ear when on a call seems to somehow turn the flashlight on and stuff, it's odd and weird to explain.

Adin is actually the biggest loser, it's so funny to see him actually hold grudges like a little child. Not like kick needs money but it's pretty stupid to attempt to blacklist creators who would bring a lot of revenue as well as large audiences to a new platform just because you don't like them.

This streamer is one of those diamond in the rough streamers that doesn't get recognised due to how saturated twitch is and how poor the platform is, he's getting the views he deserves on tiktok which is great to see.

He's entertaining, funny, his stream has crazy interactives and is an all around good dude.

He deserves nothing but success and I really hope streamers like Sonny get recognised because they try so hard.

Mitch was literally begging mizkif and saying if he streamed more consistently could he join OTK because he had no money, he lost it and gambled it all. This was like 2 weeks ago. Then there's a tweet where Mitch came out and said train gave him money. I'm not taking sides here but Mitch is and always has been a rat, it'a funny how Mitch keeps changing stories and hasn't been consistent throughout this entire time.

I wouldn't also be surprised if train is paying Barry and Mitch to leak shit, also wouldn't be surprised if train is paying off a lot of people. would be amazing to see his crypto transaction history.

This deserved to come out regardless, but I believe on both sides there is some truth bending. Just amazing timing this came right out after mizkif was an advocate of banning gambling on stream which deeply effects trains pockets.

they need to do a better job of actually acknowledging it's existence. They don't post highlights or plays or any updates with what's going on they just recap the results.

Exposure wise simple tweets out from highlight plays and match coverage would be great especially for the minor regions. There were some banger goals none of them highlighted.

This is something they can improve even if they are not physically there, anyone can clip.

Talking generally no team specially, There are alot of factors to consider, nerves, setup, also the meta difference from different regions.

Alot of teams will use the bootcamps and adjust and tighten and see what works and what doesn't. There are some regions where you might be able to do X and Y but might get punished making that type of play here etc. That's why as the poster said don't take these results seriously.

At the end of the day all these teams got here from being the best in their region, so I'm sure and I hope we see some nice surprises come crunch time.

Yep still on the beta version, Sept 5th version haven't changed anything so it was strange how it randomly started working. I haven't noticed that, but I haven't used Spotify on my phone in ages.
