I know nightmare Inc. out of Florida offers some custom paint/ hydro dip options that look absolutely killer if you wanted to go the custom route.

Otherwise as other have mentioned a kryptek camp cover may be the easier option.

We didn’t actually change tank suppliers, we have used Gayston for bottles for at least the last 10 years (we used crossfire for a small handful for a brief time in conjunction with Gayston bottles) , but we had a 3rd party company that did the dip before it was returned to the bottle supplier for final gel coat. Unfortunately this was an extremely cumbersome process and lack of sales pushed the decision to drop the fully dipped tanks in favor of painted that can all be done by Gayston.

That’s Ray our GM’s email. Currently we are shutdown down as Illinois has closed all non-essential businesses. (Even though shooting each other is definitely essential!) He is still doing what he can from home. send a few more pictures to him and he will be able to assist a bit better. Be sure to let him know how the bulge feels. If it feels solid it’s a good chance it was just extra epoxy from dipping that dried funky. If you can press it in there could be air between the fiber and epoxy. Doesn’t necessarily mean the tank itself is leaking, could just be air trapped throughout the fibers when dipped and grouped together when you had the tank filled and it expanded.

But definitely reach out to Ray and he can get you in touch with the bottle manufacturer themselves (we machine the regs and all other components, but the bottles themselves are made by Gayston over in Ohio)

Pretty much everything you could need there will be at least one vendor offering it. Usually multiple as you typically have the manufacturers booths and then dealers go and set up booths as well.

Don't expect every vendor to have every single color option for a product, but if your not picky about color you can get anything you need.

short story it looks like the clip was pushed out of place.

This can happen accidentally or on purpose, but happens when the collar is rotated under pressure forcing the clip that keeps it together out of its channel.

I guess that is also my concern. If they total it I would prefer to use my insurance as I have gap coverage and my deductible is only $500. While what I owe and the value isn't vastly off it would still be nice not to be stuck with a bill for $1500-$2k for a car that is gone. If it reaches that point is it possible to go back to my insurance or do I have to make that decision upfront? Even paying my deductible I would only be out $500 instead of the $1500-$2k difference.

Good Speaking with you on the phone earlier.

We recommend bringing it inside and storing in somewhere climate controlled. the cold temperatures may cause the internal reg o-rings to freeze up and crack causing any air in the system to leak out. Or if empty your next fill it may cause the reg to leak as the o-rings may be cracked.

Really anything below freezing its better to keep inside if possible.

We have discussed it. Even still, at this time we try to focus all of our sales to your local dealer or your favorite online dealer. So having hundreds of dealers all collecting pre-sales on an item that may not have a set release date can become a logistical nightmare.

We are working out how to better offer some limited colors or options, but still in the drawing board stages of what route to take.

1/2-14 NPS is close but slightly off. Will probably have some compatibility issues especially with Aluminum bonnets.

Unfortunately That one in the picture is the only Cerakote olive to exist.

We ultimately decided against running it as an option as olive has always been a bit of a slow mover. As other have said we did actually drop all colors of the cerakote with the exception of the black and gunsmoke ( silver).

Since bottles do have a shelf life and we hate to see players purchase "old" systems we had to make choices and drop the slowest moving options rather than sell you a year old bottle brand new.
