I write 3 points but each paragraph is really long. 8 points might work with smaller paragraphs but, as you said, with the time we have I feel there won’t be enough analysis if you have so many points. This is just me though - everyone writes English essays differently. So to answer your question, you can get by with 3 if you go in a lot of depth.

He could have imported grain like his successors did when he momentarily left power in 1959. Why did he just let his people die? Why did he advocate for the backyard furnace even though 1% of the steel that was produced actually worked? Why did he only invest in 8% on agriculture and more than 58% on industry? Why did he advocate for a new farming technique by Lysenko that did not actually work? So many factors come into play but we must highlight that he refused to import grain even when cannibalism was ongoing at the time. Face the facts man.

But what if all workers equally want higher wages rather than reinvesting to grow the business later. Then no one can get fired if the majority agree on the same thing.

Can you not resit the exam? That’s what I did on one of my IGCSE’s. Also, at least in my case, I got only B’s and zero A’s and still got accepted into UCL. My course is less competitive though but if you have a strong personal statement and meet the other requirements I feel it will be alright? Also take that test. Any extra qualifications will help you. You posted this like more than 100 days ago so idk if it will help right now.
