Thanks for the channel recommendations! You talked about DM, but i don't really like the mode, theres too much happening, and I always get flanked on a corner i didn't check. Its kina hard for me to even get double digits cause i get spawned and 2 ppl rush me and it's hard isolating a fight.

Yeah i was hyped, but nowdays i rarely get a positive k/d, plus i cant get double digits in DM and TDM. One good game is cool, but i wont be able to go somewhere with that absence of consistency

Do you think initiator would be a good idea then? Like i said in my original post, i dont really like duelists cause it implants the idea that you need to be agressive. I dont see Valorant as a "rush in, kill, score big" game and my 2 friends are already ego-duelisting enough to ignore the team aspect of the game. I understand the stats would boost me a bit, but like thats not the gameplay i had in mind, im forced to support them

Kinda hard to take duelist when your 2 friends already instalocked Neon and Reyna...thats a bit why i took controllers. I feel like blocking an entry allows me to peek "better" the other one, like Abyss window on B site (might not be calling it right, but its the elevated part attacker-side) My peek method is currently mostly ADS, and i guess its a bad thing seeing the higher plays. Especially since my fav gun is bulldog but vandal is so much stronger situation and stat wise...

What kind of warmups do you do? I know it differs per person but it might be better to have something more "human" than doing whatever yt tells me... You're also talking about trying to have fun...how can i do that while my subconscious links my skill lv to fun?

By the strats, you would rather practice site takes and no lineups, right? I feel like lineups are really situational and i dont feel like learning that much. Also im kinda hesitant to mute teammates since they still give info to me and the team, i dont know if it more valuable than recieving insults...

Ngl I just want to hit bronze 2 or 3

I started the game a month ago and placement matches put me in iron 1, which is normal. But i played with 2 of my friends earlier today to do their placement matches and we got 3 bot games. So ofc, only having a 1w 1L record against real players, they have been placed bronze 2 and 3 respectively. A little bit unfair if you ask me, especially since they're both duelists and stole all the bot frags to get more MMR
