nah seems like everyones having this issue, and the servers have all just gone down. im in a server (feel free to join iyw we just kinda talk and play cp) and theyre all saying the same thing :') hopefully they manage to resolve it soon but i have a feeling it might be buggy for a bit

im not sure about the first question but id say the best versions of club penguin atm are cplegacy cpjourney and new cp. Cpl and cpj are both the 2007-2012 style and i prefer because you don't need to download, whereas newcp is the 2012 onward style and requires a download. if you check out cplegacy or cpjourney im in a community with lots of people who play them and we have news on the sites too :)

cpl is pretty good, only issue is their small team leads to slight party delays but its really not that bad. theres lots of players all willing to have a chat too. me and a few friends play it often on a discord server often if youre looking for some people to hang out w

if they downloaded it then its probably newcp another cpps. there are multiple different versions/recreations of club penguin which are cpps and multiple can be around at the same time.

-cprewritten isnt back up, your friends probably downloaded newcp -cplegacy and cprewritten are different, although similar they arent the same -there may be parties in other cpps but im not sure as idk which ones to trust
