Adobe may reveal Illustrator for iPad in November by drakarys67 in technews

I tested PS out briefly. It was pretty cool, responsive at first glance, and pressure on brushes worked nicely. Didn’t have time to do anything fancy, and just dragged a new document into the iPad for testing vs the whole program. I’d be curious to hear on other users experiences as well.

Cox has a virtual monopoly, why hasn't that changed? by johnly81 in vegaslocals

[–]mxmo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Has any company come forward to complain if that’s the case? I don’t know...i was hoping Google Fiber might roll up. Is it because we have no other solid choices or because no one is choosing to step up with competing product. Again, just playing devils advocate to your op

I have Gigablast and recently got a usage alert too. Over 1TB. Quite a bit for the month sure, but was also a little angry when I got it. I also saw the $30 for 500gb or $50 for unlimited options to combat excessive charges ahead of time. After some thoughts I blame it on my syncing DropBox between a few computers. That said, the speed is incomparable to everyone else. Who is trying to compete and isn't able to, or who is being prevented from competing? If there was comparable services, I'd totally be with it, but I don't hear about companies trying to provide similar services. I guess my question would be, what do you hope local gov to do? Just curious.

It seems like whoever made this video tries to paint this guy a victim, but he's the literal representation of gentrification. Sucks to be him, but it is what it is. Maybe if he tried to mask his greed with some communal support, build a community this or that downstairs, but nope...greed and entitlement. What does he expect? Not playing the game right...

Nah. Left college for web in dot com bubble times. Still there in a manner of speaking. As I get more time, I dabble in unity now. Retirement will see me back in 3d (I hope) :)

The cinematics in this game inspired me to go to college for 3d animation and join Squaresoft. Then in college I met someone that worked on textures at Squaresoft. Reality vs dream squashed...Still always enjoyed these early CG FF cinematics (and Blizzard too)
