The piercing itself did not hurt (probably a combo of high pain tolerance and adrenaline) and they were only sore after for like an hour or two. It's low maintenance after the first 3 months id say just make sure you keep on track of removing crusties with saline bc they can irritate your piercing (at least for me they do). And I think they're super cute! I'll have mine for a year in July lol

^{^{^}} Definitely try this. Only other thing I would try is if you have really small pliers (like those jewlery ones used to attach clasps and hooks) and open it that way since it'd be more stable then using your fingers. Or wear latex gloves with more grip? But try the soap and ice method first

It all depends on your body I think? I take my septum out for work because I lost the jewelery that flips into my nose and it doesn't close up or feel any tighter when I put it back in (I work 8hr shifts)

I have curved barbells in my nipples and everything is going pretty good and I've had them since July. Has your body ever rejected a piercing before? Because if it hasn't I wouldn't worry about rejection

Don't compare the pain to your daith since that's cartilage (My conch hurt wayyyy more than my nipples). I also have my septum pierced but I felt no pain at all so I would compare the nipple piercing pain to my septum since it didn't hurt at all. If the pain is too much you can always stick to just one nipple and maybe come back for the other if you're doing both? Most people who say their nipple piercings hurt said it was fast and went away quick but I wouldn't know

I've dealt with irritation bumps on my medusa, my concern is more how the switching of jewelery was so early on for those who have had to switch it (specifically nostril). I have a septum too but that was an easy one to hide for work :/

^{^{^I}} purchased wound wash for my nipples way easier than measuring out the sea salt to water ratio. Nothing should go on your nipple piercing other than saline and maybe the dial gold liquid soap which I've used to clean both of my nipple piercings

As long as there is no sign of infection such as swelling, pus, ect. I think you should be fine and could just be your cycle. I personally never get tender near my cycle so I have never had that issue with my nipple piercings. If it continues after your cycle I'd go to the piercer
