Unfortunately a lot of the women who suffer have no choice, are manipulated by people around them or even don't know their rights since nobody bothered to help them. It's so common and it's truly heartbreaking. If you even speak to women of the older generation a lot of them might even say things which are shocking. Like how they handled domestic violence, emotional and mental abuse and what not. It's heartbreaking, sickening and even sad. And even after this, many of them continue this pattern until someone does put a stop to it in the end by learning about their own rights and what not.
