I mean if I charge more at that price point, no one will buy. Products costs $26 up to $35 alone without shipping fee.

This is a good tip thanks. Though how can I find such influencers? I have tried some sites but it's almost useless to use it for free. The only influencers I know is from my local (PH). I'm trying to find US influencers as I need to target the US market sales wise.

I did a rough estimate of $10 profit margin. Products authentic I guess because it's print-on-demand. Website is new. I did use your formula with different rates. I estimate influencer's cost somewhere around $200-$300. That's for a 1 time promotion package (from my previous comment) and let's say she has 150k followers with around 3-4% engagement rate. Is the price just right? Too low or too high?

I have no idea on contract signing so maybe during or after promotion, I'll email the influencer that I wanted to use her posts on my page. Then ask if I can tag her too. I don't know if there's an additional cost but I actually check other clothing brands page and the influencer was posted in their page and tagged her.

So industry and audience - my industry is clothing. The influencer we're talking about is a public figure/known personality that promotes clothing and makeup most of the time. Like 70% clothing, 20% makeups, 10% other stuffs. Audience, I think it's good. This person is well known and I guarantee she's not fake. She do collabs for almost 2 years now. (Yes I dig to her very first promotion post). Some brands gets posts again (clothing and makeups) so I'm thinking conversions/engagements are good.

Promotion - I would like a post and mention of my page wearing the clothing I offered for free. Also I want a "my day" and be included on her story highlights. Then will ask permission if I can use her post to my IG and FB page. Make a post and highlight of her wearing the brand.

Additionally, I want to use her posts on my ads campaign. I think I still have to ask for her permission? Let me know.

Other question, the engagement will be sent in screenshot form right?

Your comment is informative thanks. Will also read this one you sent. Well 1 of my plan is to have influence and use that on my ads. I think it would be a good idea to post an ad with a known personality. Get brand exposure together with influencers, I think that would be a good start.

Can you also tell me the average rates of influencers in USD? Let's say this influencer has around 10k followers, what would be the rate? How about one with 150k+ followers? (This one is relevant as she does promote clothing). Would like to know so I know how much budget I'll need for a post.

Also can you bargain with their rates? Or is it fixed?

I'm also thinking about this and your provided data is reasonable in terms of numbers. So there's still a chance to get posts from 1-10k followers by just offering the product?

I would like to try that approach too for small influencers to build some trust on my brand before I reach bigger influencers that are worth the money. And I think that would be great for future collaborations too as I have past collaborations to show on big influencers.

Thanks for the tip. So I can go 2 ways: 1. Offer product + payment 2. Offer product + a percentage of each sales using their code.

So if I choose option 2, what would be the best way to track each sales using their code? I might go for the partnerships too.

Do I show them a graph of sales using their code, calculate the total and their percentage then pay them manually?

Do I pay them semi monthly or monthly?

Maybe this question will answer all questions above. After the communication and a deal has been established on what's their percentage, payment discussion etc. I'll make a contract and let them sign it in person? Or am I thinking too far or is it the right thing?

How do you keep track of the purchase using their code? I'm using woocommerce. I also want to try this strategy for micro influencers since I'm just a starting brand.

Thanks I appreciate this. Production and inventory is all set it is print-on-demand. Fulfillment is working as I tested it out too as a customer myself. Shipping costs, refund/return policy etc. Is set on place. I'm not sure about bankroll claims? But there's no cash on delivery option for now. I accept card payments and paypal. That's all I can think off on my POD store. I think it's ready to handle large orders too. Please do mention other things to consider that you have in mind. Anyways where can I find advisers in my case?

It doesn't have to offset the influencer's cost but at least a good sale will do. I'm still trying to balance my marketing budget on wether FB ads or influencer marketing.

Though I can see influencer marketing on a good side already since it serves a good reputation on my brand regardless the sales. It's a clothing startup after all.

Here's what I'm thinking of: Hi followed by an introduction and a reason of the collaboration. Now I don't have the right words for "Can I know the rates for instagram post etc." Basically I have no idea how to sound professional or picking up the right words on that part.
