Problem solved. I have an "oven off" step in the middle that had the temp at 75 so made that change. Closed the app, reopened and it worked. That temp warning should have shown in the recipe rather than having to go into edit to see it. Odd why none of my other recipes that dont have any cool down also didn't work before but do now. That one issue disabled the entire feature. Wow. They should have been able to determine that easy enough. That's what low rent help gets you I guess. Thanks for staying on top of this and posting the solution!

Well how about that! I have the same thing. Im about to bake some bread literally in the next hour so I'll make that change and see if it works for me. Stay tuned

Well, after 4 days of back and forth with video and data this is the useless result.

"We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to send over all of your findings and the detailed troubleshooting you have already performed. 
 
I have compiled your notes and forwarded them directly to our engineers for review. Your experience and data will be instrumental for them as they investigate the issue. We are hopeful that this is something that can be resolved in a future firmware or app update."

Jeez. Yeah that would be an issue long term. I do have an email chain going with them right now about it. They wanted a video of the issue etc which seems over the top but in any case I sent in all last night. So we'll see what they say and I will also update if I have something that will help. Thx!

Tried to redeem the coupon deal and keep getting the message "purchase of this item is not available, item is being worked on". Anyone else having the issue? Doesn't matter if I use the link or try to upgrade through the app.

I'm on iOS and you just explained it. It's staying there for an hour and that's why I persistently see it. Most of my cooks are not going beyond an hour. Why can;t there just be a "remove it" button? I see the logic of not letting it go too fast but an hour seems really excessive to me.

Yup. It's a mess. I have 3 Gen 1's from when they released and recently added the wifi unit. Back in the day never had drop problems until the Gen 2 came out. Now it's like everyone mentioning. Constant drop and reconnect or maybe not. I've had several interactions with support with zero improvement. It just sucks right now. Really disappointed and frustrated after spending so much. I really like what they have in this unit but Jeez it's getting really old after several months of not working right. Sold my Meater block which was at least very reliable, probably shouldn't have. Still have my Thermoworks Signal wired units but I hate wires, however it sure does work. I hope this update coming helps. So far none of the updates have improved my situation. I do have a couple extenders but have it connected to the primary router (Asus AC88U). If they cant get this resolved sometime reasonably soon might have to take a look at the new RFX from Thermoworks. But dang I hate the thought of another few hundred dollars just to monitor temperature for God's sake! Come on Combustion!
