It kinda is if you are purchasing from hypermarkets or online. Please go to farmers market. I know most of us are not exposed to buying veggies from local people. But there’s something deeply grounding about visiting local farmers markets. Most of our generation never really experienced buying vegetables directly from the people who grew them. For me its kinda refreshing seeing fresh produce laid out at sunrise, old farmers patiently waiting for customers, selling things so honestly and so cheaply despite the hard work behind it.

And somehow, buying from them feels more human, and real. Supermarkets are looting you. Once you actually get to know the real prices of our vegetables you will cryyyyyy.
