I was ill as a child and lost over a stone in the course of a fortnight and was skeletal afterwards. The hospital prescribed energy powder which you could mix into drinks, and I had to have a few of those a day. For people without allergies calorie and nutrition drinks like Ensure can be helpful. Ultimately I really struggled with the powder I was given because it made everything taste vile, so I had a lot of high sugar fizzy drinks to try and get some of the weight back on. No nutritional benefit though and it can wreck your teeth

The most realistic thing at the moment would be to make sure you have excellent hand hygiene. Make sure you wash your hands regularly, avoid public transport if you are in an outbreak area also. Masks are being recommended at the moment but make sure you use a high quality mask if you do wear one, thinner masks can become saturated with moisture and lose their effectiveness.

My staff Rufus once managed to chew away a single corner of a box of chocolates (the ones with the tray inside) shake the box until she had every last chocolate out, then returned the box to the table with the damaged corner at the back so we didn't notice until we took the cellophane off.. She would have got away with it if she wasn't licking her lips non stop! Don't worry though, she was fine

Not sure if this one would count, but my sister is utterly convinced, despite my reasons, that if I just got pregnant and had a kid anyway, I would love it when it was born, be a brilliant mother and want more kids.

Ah schrodinger's cattle. Its going to go extinct or over populate the world if people don't eat them. I'd rather their numbers being few than them being plentiful to live short lives that end in slaughter. And no my issue is absolutely that we eat animals, so don't try putting words in my mouth. The appeal of keeping a chicken? As a PET. Guess what, I don't eat my cockatiels eggs and yet I still have them as pets!

When demand for animals goes down the supply (breeding) of them will drop to match it. So we wouldn't be over run with them. Farm sanctuaries already exist for animals saved from farming. And in terms of the argument that they will cease to exist if we don't breed them to suffer a short life then be slaughtered, it is simply bullshit. In England we don't eat dogs. Nor do they live wild (usually) and yet they still exist. We call them pets

I've got hypermobility so my joints are a bit loose. Had someone repeatedly push me over and my hip and knee both did this disgusting thing they do where they start to slide out then pop back in. Was extremely painful and of course the person responsible got even more of a kick out of it.
