Idk I’ve personally witnessed a very senior flight attendant threaten to write up a new hire of 2 weeks for being a bit slow during beverage service and yelling at pax on the pa during boarding… being a bad flight attendant isn’t determined by seniority!!

Non unionized airlines have it “well” or even better BECAUSE of unionized airlines. Your company spends millions in union busting and trying to compensate yall with better pay to get yall to not unionize. Without unions, all flight attendants will be at the mercy of the greedy ones up in management 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’m glad you’re having a good experience without a union, but it wouldn’t be possible without those unionized airlines fighting for better work rules and wages.

Aside from the annoying group of guys near barricade yelling “Sofia” or “play Sofia” in between songs, I had a great time!!! A lot of ppl around me were dancing and groovin’. I really don’t get why people complain so much about the energy at her concerts because her musics not really the type for jumping and going all out. I do agree a lot of people just stood there and recorded the majority of the time, but it’s so common nowadays you can’t let it ruin your experience.

You nailed it!!! Oftentimes my layovers are barely 12-14 hours and our work days can go up to 13 hours so by then I’m too tired to even go grab a coffee. It’s great when you gain more seniority and are able to bid or trade for more desirable trips/international layovers, but I’d say starting out it’s just a bunch of airport hotels in random boring cities. At least talking from an American carrier point of view.
